Is GRP any good?
GRP (fibreglass) is particularly a good option for Lantern Solid Conservatory Roofs, where an existing conservatory or extension roof had a box gutter against the house, which commonly occurs on bungalows or houses with low roofs or extensions. Because a GRP roof is relatively flat, it can do away with the need for a box gutter completely. Box gutters are notorious for leaking after they have been installed for a few years, particularly if they are not cleaned out and maintained regularly.
GRP Lantern Solid, Insulated Conservatory Roofs are exceptionally weatherproof when applied correctly and pose little risk of frost damage or leaking.
